Pets are welcome at Marree Roadhouse, free of charge, whether you are in a cabin or pitching a tent for the night. Just keep them on a lead and clean up after them around the property. Outback adventures are better with the whole crew along.

Nobody has ever confirmed who carved this giant into the outback.
The Marree Man is one of the world's largest geoglyphs, a 350 metre figure etched into the earth right on our doorstep, with no confirmed creator. It is only fully visible from the air, and our Lake Eyre scenic flights take off just down the road to fly you right over it. New guest just wandered into the caravan park, four legs, no manners, absolutely no interest in the WiFi password.
Our camping guests got themselves a surprise neighbour this week. This kind of thing is exactly why we call it outback magic, wild camels strolling through like they own the place.
