The season is ALIVE and my heart can't handle it — So many beautiful Petite Paris guests literally in our homes right now coming & going...

This is Colleen and her daughter Audrey from South Australia — look at their beautiful energy!! They're staying in Apartment Oliver in le Marais. It's their first ever mum and daughter trip and they hadn't seen each other for six months.

Colleen was nervous about Audrey waiting alone at the train station for some hours, so of course magnificent Alvin waited with her. Honestly — who else is going to do that for you in Paris? His own beautiful heart exploding witnessing their reunion, and then proudly walking them both home. Apartment Oliver 💛

And lovely Alana from New York, a Petite Paris devotee and always stays in a Petite home. This trip she brought her two little boys — look at that proud mama face 💛✨ She tried Apartment Lisette in Montmartre for the first time and I think she found a new favourite.

What makes this visit extra special — Alana has been doing French lessons remotely with Lisette, and this trip she finally gets to meet her in person. Lisette is coming to say goodbye at checkout. I can't wait to hear about that moment.

And something about seeing her share Paris with her boys this time - In a strange and beautiful way I feel woven into that — part of her and her family's Paris story, one visit at a time.

When solo travel just happens to you!! Shianne booked a Petite Paris home (Apartment Alvin - link to see the apartment is in comments) with two friends who both cancelled. So Paris said, fine, we'll take her ourselves. 💛✨💛

And this video. These fun, spirited Parisians on a bench who pulled Shianne straight into their world the moment she walked past… This is what happens when there's no one between you and the city. When you remove the buffer of a travel companion and let the city actually reach you. The universe gave her what she needed by taking away what she'd planned...

And this moment, let's be honest, would not have happened if she were with others. And she is absolutely OWNING Paris. Also enjoy solo cafe moments reading a book in her own peace pace, Spoiling herself to trips to Sephora, getting up at Sunrise to see the Eiffel before anyone else is up and all to herself, alone fearless...

This is what I live for. And for YOU too!!!

It took me 45 years to work out what feels better than being solo... it's being TOGETHER AND SOLO at the same time! And that one doesn't have to take away from the other!

I always avoided typical group tour groups because they made travelling in a group feel stuck and I'm way too much of a rogue wanderer to ever 'follow the line' and way too autonomous to wake up at the time someone else tells me (NOT on holiday thanks)

But I'm also that introvert who paradoxically loves people too - I just don't like surface level connections or forced connection that the tour groups are based on. (Sorry to all the amazing women solo connection tour groups popping up everywhere around the world I still cant join your set itinerary)

So I found my middle sweet spot. Its the Petite Paris solo traveller meet ups! ✨💛 For others who are just like this, and surely they are out there!!

Because there's something truly magical about a group that's based on the firm foundation of coming to paris to experience the exact opposite of what those group tour offer. True independence and sovereign individuality!

And ironically you know what true independence and sovereignty is? It's NOT being entirely alone 24/7 either as a revolt against that group ickiness, it's still being with people but people you CHOOSE! When you choose!

But how do you know that you will get on with the other solo traveller who joined this ? Good question! The answer is magic! Literally! When you are choosing each other out of sovereign self rather than 'because its part of your tour itinerary' and you're choosing that meet up for THAT exact reason, there's a deep profound shift in how you experience yourself and each other in those moments!! And it just works!! Oh and our mutual love of Paris! Bien sur hahhaha

Paris says - "Hay don't I get any credit? I'm the city of solo independence and romance here for crying out cheese and croissants"

My first Solo traveller is HERE - it's lovely Heidi 💛 Heidi was part of the first Solo Meet Up this year & she's already signed up for the next - March 18-24, 2027! And she's also returning to the same B&B Monique - her Petite Paris home! 💛✨ Lovely, you made my day, Im soooo ecstatic I get to reunite with you 🙏

And this is Heidi at the antique flea markets, holding a ceramic she found while on the Solo Meet Up, that turns out to be from her own families's pottery lineage.

Suddenly spotting her own families Wedgewood China was a surreal moment, she couldn't believe it, and in that moment I knew this wasn't Heidi just having a travel service experience, it was her having a life moment, one of those personal travel serendipities that no body and no travel service could ever engineer. The little (loud) affirmations from the universe telling you, YES! you're in the right place!

In fact Heidi had LOTS of meaningful serendipitous ah-ha moments in Paris that week it was almost uncanny. As an aspiring artist, a solo traveller advocate, paris was definitely speaking to her the entire trip in spooky ways we kept freaking out about... & she left paris not just wanting to return one day, but to make Paris part of her life design, and here she is, making it happen!!

I am sooooo curious and excited to see what Paris brings her next as she picks up where she left off, her new found solo relationship with the city, seeing where the city takes her, and all it has to show her...

Because if Paris is speaking to you, then there is something there waiting for you too! I just know it. Come and find out, this is what Petite Paris is all about - it's DISCOVERING YOU in the city, as much as discovering the city!!

I have NO fear of failing, I only fear not trying!! But I also have NO fear of sitting alone for dinner in Paris if no one joins LOOL! But please come haha! I so hope to meet some new amazing solo travellers in Paris again. Last meet ups were seriously the BEST!!

One thing I forgot to mention (though I will be speaking more about the solo meet up curated experience & concept in the coming weeks as I keep inviting/searching for my ladies) is that ... this Meet Up (& all going forward) is for ANY solo traveller whether you are a first time solo in Paris traveller, or a returning solo traveller to paris, or seasoned solo Paris traveller 💛✨ Solo is the only prerequisite 🤗

But if you ARE a first timer then you get to experience the city completely authentically solo by day (we are not taking away from the true essence & magic of learning/growing completely on your own) but you might love the idea of having some friends at the end of the day for meals for connection & friendship (all optional in the moment) AND if you're a regular or seasoned solo traveller then, this might just be something beautiful to add to your Paris experience & the connections you may already have in the city.

Petite B&B Host's may join us for some meals when they can because my friends are your friends in Paris, & you never know you may just find your next perfect Host in Paris!

Did I say I'm soooo excited??? I think this amazing Aussie spring weather has got me in all the productive feels. It's time to plan for Paris, time to plan the next official Petite Paris SOLO meet up!!

Bonjour Petite Paris family, love from Peet and Femke in Paris 💛✨ This is one of my fave Petite Stories... Femke is a B&B guest & now she works at B&B Peet. Peet was looking for a breakfast server assistant & I knew Femke was a baker dreaming of her own part-time Paris life. Et voila! The Petite network, family & connection grows, & Femke is who you may see at the breakfast table when you book Peets B&B, and I think thats just Magic!! ✨💛

This is 2 nights ago when Peet took Femke out to Bouillon Julien for her Birthday - they sent me this photo & my heart danced! Im waving back madly!

Peet is a humble wholesome B&B host, already we have 12 yrs together, But I truly adore how he has taken Femke under his hospitality wing, because she was naturally nervous at first but I hear, she is a force in the kitchen & with the guests now...

But I knew that about Femke soon as we met, she found me sitting at a cafe in Montmartre and yelled out "OMG its you Petite Paris" and came straight for me, sat next to me, before I even knew what was going on - & I was glad 💛 Plus, any woman who can put on eyeliner without a mirror in the middle of a Paris Brasserie without a care who's watching is a woman who knows her self & a woman after my own heart LOL

That doesn't mean she wasn't nervous starting her B&B job, she was, but thats the thing confidence doesn't start from being perfect & getting it right, it comes from being ok to make mistakes and be vulnerable anyway...

And, this is what happens when you travel. When you DO THE THING. You never know who you're going to meet, what opportunities are going to pop up...

But you have to be like Femke and when those opportunities land, reach out and grab it full heartedly like she did, even through the fear. We all say we want change but then when change arrives do we take it is the question...

Anyway this is the result when you do. A connection made between this Solo lady traveller and my B&B host Peet, & thats SO Petite!!!
