Turns out menopause wasn't the end of my adventurous years.
It might just be the beginning.
This photo wasn't planned.
It happened after an incredible weekend of drumming, good people, plenty of laughter... and one of those sunsets that makes you stop and soak it all in.
On a whim, I thought, "I wonder if I can still do a handstand?"
Turns out... I could.
It made me realise how many things we quietly place in the "I used to..." box.
Maybe the biggest challenge of getting older isn't our bodies.
Maybe it's believing we've stopped growing.
For those who've followed my journey through Timber Gym over the years, you'll know I've always believed movement isn't just about exercise.
It's about living well.
It's about staying curious, staying capable, and continuing to surprise yourself.
That belief hasn't changed.
It's simply evolved.
That's one of the reasons I created Menopause & Me.
Because I believe this stage of life can be one of curiosity, strength, laughter, adventure... and discovering what else is possible.
If you'd like to follow this next chapter with me, I'd love to have you along for the journey. π
