There is so much more to the High Country than winter. Greenwood Cottages in Tolmie is the perfect base for a Spring or Summer getaway, surrounded by beautiful lakes, rivers, waterfalls, wineries and family-friendly adventures.

💦 Spend a warm day at Lake William Hovell, tucked away beyond Whitfield and Cheshunt, or explore Lake Eildon, the Jamieson River and Howqua River for swimming, picnics and relaxing by the water.

💧 Pack a picnic and discover some of our beautiful local waterfalls, including Paradise Falls, or spend the day exploring the walking tracks and scenery of the High Country.

🦁 Travelling with the kids? Visit Mansfield Zoo, enjoy the Mansfield playground, mini golf, the maze and plenty of other family-friendly activities around town.

🍷 Head through Whitfield and the King Valley for a day of wineries, cellar doors, breweries, beautiful food and stunning countryside.

🌿 Then come home to Greenwood Cottages, fire up the BBQ, relax on the wrap-around deck, watch the kangaroos and deer wander past and finish the evening under a sky full of stars.

🐾 And yes — we’re pet friendly, so your four-legged family members can come too!

There’s plenty to explore while you’re here too — spend the day visiting the beautiful King Valley wineries, head to Jamieson for a brewery visit, or enjoy a family day out at Mansfield Zoo and the Mansfield Maze.
