Around since the 1800’s, The Nag’s Head Hotel (previously named simply The Adamstown Hotel) has been an icon in the area for over a century. The Nag’s is a family owned and operated hotel, which takes pride in all that is offered to our guests. The Nag’s now offers an open, relaxed, yet funky vibe to the hotel, yet have still maintained certain aspects of former times, for example the restored pressed metal ceilings throughout the sports bar and lounge area.

Authorities have received serious allegations that The Nags may be serving the best cocktails in Newcastle.

Witnesses claim the drinks are “dangerously good”, “far too easy to order another” and “potentially responsible for some questionable dance moves.”
