The Lambton Park Hotel was first established in 1881, then one of more than a dozen pubs in Lambton, it was a favourite with the locals. LPH has gone through changes and adapted with time and has come out today still a favourite. It comes recommended by those who have visited LPH for its quality food and affordable prices. One of our very own locals Benn Coubrough has been selected as the only Australian to compete in the Badwater 135 — widely regarded as the toughest foot race on earth!

This isn’t just another ultra. It’s 135 miles of extreme heat, relentless climbs, and mental limits most people never experience.

A strong performance at Badwater opens the door to returning to the Moab 240 — a brutal 240-mile race through the Utah desert — where he’ll be lining up to compete at the front and fight for the win. Benn fought hard to finish as runner-up last year, and now it's time to go one better!

As an ultra-endurance athlete, coach, and leader in his local community, this journey represents years of discipline, sacrifice, and the pursuit of what’s possible.
