AND WE’RE OFF! 🚨First winning barra of the season has been caught and one fisho is now $10,000 RICHER. 🎣💰

On Friday, Just 45 minutes into fishing at Hardies Lagoon, Darren Kenny landed Season 12’s first $10,000 barra, a 62cm catch with a red tag!

It’s Darren’s second winning catch at the same spot and the Kenny family’s third, Darren’s Dad happened to catch the first fish of season 11 last year! With son Ashton on board for all three, we reckon he’s their lucky charm. 🍀

And thanks to Darren’s lucky catch, our good friends at Surf Life Saving NT receive $1k, for being this Season's official Charity Partner!

There are still 99 red-tagged barra worth $10k and a fish carrying the $1 million tag swimming out there.
