Comedy Night: Sam Taunton 🎤

Sam grew up in a fibro house on a quarter-acre block in Nowra — held together, by his account, with pop-rivets and an unreasonable amount of WD-40. Last year his dad sold it. Around the same time, the TV show he used to host wrapped up too (unrelated, he swears).

This is a 60-minute set about suburban misadventures, small-town characters, and the strange feeling of losing the place that made you. He says it's about the house. It's really about everything that happened inside it.

You may know him from Sam Pang Tonight, The Cheap Seats, hosting The Big Trip, or as Troy in Upper Middle Bogan on Netflix. With stand-up clips routinely racking up millions of views online and rave reviews from The Age, The Adelaide Advertiser and The Scotsman, Dave has established himself as one of Australia’s most entertaining comedians.

Now, after almost half a lifetime doing what he loves, he’s bringing a brand-new hour of stand-up to the stage — exploring the small things that frustrate him and the big things that get on top of him… more or less. 😂
