Self-Contained Camping Sites

Stayed here in September and was just exactly what we wanted. Spacious, quite and not far from town. We stayed on the edge of the boundary overlooking the hills for a few days then moved into the trees for remainder of the trip and both sites were great and easy enough for caravan. Shane also came and introduced himself and if we have any questions, there is supplied bins that he empties and some fire pits as well. Overall was very satisfied and would recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful. Lovely views of the lake . We enjoyed a fire under the stars.
Shane provided wood which we so appreciated. We felt so relaxed at this lovely location.

What an absolute gem!

If you’re looking for a peaceful self-contained campsite to truly switch off, this is it. The sites are spacious, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It has that perfect balance of feeling like you’re away from everything while still being incredibly welcoming.

The real standout, though, was the host. Absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone has a great stay. It’s people like that who turn a great campsite into a memorable one.

You can tell this place is cared for with pride, and it shows. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already talking about when we can come back.

We honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. If I could give it 100 stars out of 5, I would. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful peaceful spot, hidden farm stay gem. Self contained was all good with our setup. Great view overlooking the dams to wake up too. Shane was a fantastic host.

Things to do and see around Northcliffe Nature Park and the surrounding area.

Just 4 km from Northcliffe Nature Park, you’ll find the giant Jarrah tree, boasting a chest-height circumference of 6 metres. It’s a true hidden gem—ask Shane for directions!

River Road Bridge.

Around a hundred years old, this structure once hauled timber but now welcomes pedestrians. Some of its supports were scorched by fire, yet it remains solid for strolling. From the bridge, you might catch sight of blue wrens flitting among the grasses.
8k's off Wheatley Coast Road, Turn left onto to Orchid Road from Wheatley Coast Rd then bare right onto to River Road.

Lakeside Restaurant Karri Valley, located on Pemberton-Nannup Road, is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of w**e, a cold b**r, or your favorite drink alongside a delicious meal. Enjoy the stunning lake views as you dine and keep an eye out for the many kangaroos and emus that make for great photo opportunities, making it an ideal day out.

Absolutely loved this place

Everything about this place was lovely. It was easy to find, had views of green fields, dams and friendly cows, had bush and gorgeous trees, enjoyable walks and Shane was a great host, he even chopped up some wood for me to have a fire. I was lucky to have the place to myself so chose a spot under the trees but with the view. Bins and fire pits were provided. It was fairly close to Northcliffe, so I enjoyed venturing out and exploring the area.

Shane’s property is beautiful.
Nice and quiet.
Quick communication and very helpful.
Have been here 3 times now.
Bins supplied and plenty of parking.

Quiet and peaceful. Have a choice of being in the open or shaded amongst the trees. We had a fire as it was cool at night.

All the reviews are right - had a week here and it was perfect - the scenery and the towns around are stunning and the campsites are thoughtful and well supplied

Shane the host is a top bloke and knows the area inside out - he is also laid back and helpful and made the stay even better

Our two kelpies loved the place and the cows are pretty cool
The week was not enough could have stayed a month - will be back before winter is out.
