The weather has taken a turn but we've got plenty of heat in our live music with Rusty Brown - Saturday night from 7:30 pm at the Ocean Grove Hotel.

That's a great way to end the week. How good is that!

Enjoy a great meal beforehand and the b**r is always cold and inviting.

What a fabulous sunny warm day ... it deserves a night of live music ... at the OGH - where you can sing along and ask for requests.

Meals served until 7:30 pm - then you can enjoy cold b**rs and cocktails until close ... we won't not need the warm fire tonight!

Such a magnificent sunny spring day ... enjoy it with your mates in our front b**r garden during happy hour. Get your free ticket(s) to a chance at knocking off the Joker and taking home $900 (less the cost of shouting the bar if you feel inclined). You can stay and watch the sun set.

Or spend a lazy afternoon in the rear b**r garden watching your children run around while you relax and enjoy a few cold ones.

The Joker is sneaky. He doesn't want you to win. (He even changes the amount to discourage you - spot the typo). Tonight the prize is $800 if you pick the Joker and depose his reign.

Happy hour prices tonight in the public bar ... every b**r gets a free ticket in the draw to win a chance to find the Joker on the board.

Of course, there's the magnificent b**r garden out front (pets welcome) where you can enjoy the sunshine with your mates.

Thursday dinner is Steak Night at the OGH.

300 grams of value trimmed, portion controlled porterhouse striploin cooked to your liking with chips and salad for $30.00.

Available in the family friendly bistro and adults only public/sports bar from 5:30 pm ... every steak is cooked to order and there may be a wait during busy times because our chef grills each one perfectly.

While you are waiting for the steak, there's time to enjoy a cold b**r, a glass of w**e or a fabulous cocktail such as the tropical sunset (or see the real sunset from our front b**r garden with your trusty pooch).

This is funny. Facebook thinks we are world famous (or at least as far as Cairns) so auto-posted our Parma Night special to Cairns Takeaway Food web page.

You'd be taking home a rather cold Parma if you had to fly it back home with you to Port Douglas or Palm Cove.

But, on the upside, you'd get to experience the marvellous sunset from our b**r garden tonight over a cold schooner of b**r while you waited for it to be cooked to your liking.

We may not be the tropics but we do make a fabulous Tropical Sunset cocktail to enjoy.
