We still have plenty of accommodation left if anyone is looking at staying the weekend or even just the night.

❄️We’re as keen to get on the snow as you are.

But while we’re all watching the forecasts and waiting for the snow gods to deliver to Mount Hotham Official and Dinner Plain Alpine Village , there’s another hill to hit.

Omeo is riding brilliantly, with cool temperatures, hero dirt and our own 600m of descent ▶️

We’re running shuttles all winter, bring your skis when the snow arrives. Until then, bring your bike.

Just a reminder to make sure you check for any road closures.

⚠️ Alpine road and track closures ❄️

Due to severe weather warnings and to prioritise public safety, a number of high-elevation roads and tracks are now closed.

These include:
- Dargo High Plains Road (Dargo to Hotham Heights)
- Blue Rag Range Track
- Basalt North Track
- Twins Track
- Twins Jeep Track
- Mount Murray Track North
- Gunns Track

These closures will now remain until the seasonal reopening on 29 October 2026.

Visitors to Victoria’s parks and forests are being reminded that majority of the seasonal road and track closures will begin from 11 June, following the King’s Birthday long weekend.

Closures help keep visitors safe and protect roads and tracks from winter damage caused by rain and snow.

Each year, Forest Fire Management Victoria, Parks Victoria and the Conservation Regulator enforce road and track closures across public land from June to November.

Before heading out, check road and track closure and local conditions:
