They are spotted & tracked to where they have made camp overnight beneath a huge Red Gum tree. As dawn breaks & their Trackers plan an ambush, the Red Gum lowers its branches to shield the lovers & the red morning sunrays light up the tree like a huge red sun which

scared off the Trackers. A Kookaburra laughed & woke the lovers who continued their escape blissfully unaware of their good fortune. Overlooking one of the few remnant old growth Red Gum forests of this area where the morning sunrays light the trees & stunning sunrises & sunsets are reflected in the still waters of Lake Bobbinaworra. Yarranungara offers sanctuary for lovers in the heart of the beautiful King Valley Gourmet Food & Wine Region.
