Get another perspective on the Hunter Valley with Balloon Aloft Australia

Their Hunter Valley balloon flights begin at sunrise and take in views of the picturesque w**e regions of Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury or Broke. Balloon flights last approximately one hour and are followed by a delicious gourmet breakfast and ch*****ne celebration at the famous Peterson House w**ery and Restaurant.

Balloon Aloft cater their daily sunrise balloon flights for individuals, corporate groups or intimate VIP flights. Hot air ballooning is an adventure activity and whilst there are no fixed timelines, your entire experience, including breakfast after the flight, should take approximately 3.5 – 4.5 hours.

🥂 One year on… and we’re still pretty proud of this one.

Twelve months ago, we shared the news that Palmers Lane Estate had been named a finalist in the NSW Tourism Awards.
A few weeks later, on 27 November 2025, we found out we’d been awarded Silver. 🥈✨

For our family-run estate, it was more than a trophy. It was recognition of the care that goes into creating a memorable stay - from our private cottages and the little details, to the beautiful Hunter Valley setting and the people who make Palmers Lane Estate what it is.

And ultimately, it’s a reflection of our guests, too. Every stay, every review, every recommendation and every return visit helps make this place what it is.

A year on, we’re still incredibly grateful, incredibly proud… and still doing what we love: welcoming guests to the Hunter Valley and giving them a beautiful place to slow down, stay awhile and enjoy it all. 🌿🍷
