Our ensuite sites give you your own private bathroom right beside your site, so you can enjoy the caravan or camping holiday without the walk to the amenities block.
Your own shower. Your own toilet. Your own space.

It’s one of those little holiday luxuries that, once you’ve had it, can be pretty hard to give up!
And you’re still surrounded by all those lovely established trees, with Porepunkah and the High Country waiting outside.

☕ Even buffaloes need a sleep-in! 🦬

Our mates at Buffalo Brew Co. have decided 6:30 am was a little too enthusiastic. Fair enough, really. 😂

They're giving the alarm clock an extra half-hour and firing up the coffee machine from 7:00 am instead!

Now this is what we call being spoilt for choice. 🌳
Looking down over the park, you really get a sense of just how many beautiful established trees we have around our sites.

Find your spot, get yourself set up and then the important decisions can begin.
River first? A wander into Porepunkah? Head out exploring? Or pull out the chairs and decide you're actually quite happy staying exactly where you are. 😄

We reckon there's a lot to be said for having your own little patch of the High Country to come back to.

Woohoo! ☕ Buffalo Brew Co. is officially OPEN! 🦬

What a fantastic soft launch yesterday! A huge thank you to everyone who came along, grabbed a coffee and helped us celebrate.

We're excited to welcome Buffalo Brew Co. to Bright Porepunkah Holiday Park!

Serving up great coffee, hot drinks and sweet treats from a retro-inspired coffee van, it's a fantastic new addition to the park for our guests and the local community.

Just look at that water! 💚
One of the things we love most about our little patch of Porepunkah is having direct access to the beautiful Ovens River from the park.

And when the water is this clear, you can see straight through to the stones on the riverbed.
Take a wander down, find yourself a quiet spot and enjoy a little time beside the water. No need to jump in the car or plan a big day out.

Sometimes the nicest part of a holiday is right where you're staying.
We reckon a riverside afternoon sounds pretty good! 🌿

Some holiday afternoons don't need much planning. 😌
A quiet spot outside, a couple of glasses of w**e, something good to nibble on… and nowhere you particularly need to be.

There's plenty to explore around Porepunkah, Bright and the High Country, but you don't have to fill every minute of your stay.

Sometimes coming back to the park, putting your feet up and staying right where you are sounds pretty good to us. 💚

Some people head up Mount Buffalo with the walking shoes on and a plan. Others are perfectly happy finding a view, unpacking lunch and staying put. 😄⛰️

We’re not here to tell you there’s a right way to do Buffalo.
A good walk? Absolutely.
Picnic with a view? Yep.
A scenic drive with plenty of stops along the way? That counts too.

That’s one of the things we love about having Mount Buffalo nearby — you can make the day as adventurous or as lazy as you like.

So, what’s YOUR Buffalo day? 🥾🧺🚗

It’s always fun seeing home from a completely different angle. ⛰️
This is the view from Mount Buffalo, looking down towards Porepunkah and across our little patch of the High Country.

When you’re staying with us, a trip up the mountain is an easy addition to the holiday. Pack some lunch, choose a walking track, stop at a lookout and take your time.

You don’t have to conquer the whole mountain either. A good walk, a picnic and a view like this can be more than enough.

Then it’s back down to Porepunkah, feet up and nowhere else you need to be. We reckon that sounds like a pretty good day. 💚
