There are places we pass through, and places that ask us to linger.

Our new menu has arrived for the season 🙌🏻🙌🏻good, hearty food, local Tassie wines and craft beers, made and poured not too far from where we stand.

Whether you’re a camper, a nomad, a hiker, a rambler, a local, or simply following the road wherever it takes you come in from the journey, pull up a chair and stay awhile 🍻 🍽️

There’s good food on the table, something local in the glass, and always room for another.

Book online or give us a call to reserve your table.

We’ll see you along the way 😀

A quick hello from the Fox & Hounds Inn🦊🍺

We wanted to share a quick note to help avoid any booking confusion.

We’ve recently become aware of a booking made through a website claiming to be Agoda. Just to clarify, The Fox & Hounds Inn does not use Agoda and never has, so we’re unable to accept bookings made through that platform.

You can book with us safely and securely via:

Our website: www.foxandhounds.com.au

Or through our trusted partners: Booking.com and Expedia

Since taking ownership 15 months ago, we’ve proudly invested over $1.2 million into improving this iconic venue — including a brand-new kitchen, refreshed spaces, and a wonderful new team. In the past three weeks alone, we’ve served over 400 meals with fantastic feedback, and we’re confident guests will love the positive changes.

If you have any questions, please reach out — we’re always happy to help. We can’t wait to welcome you ❤️
