Superb whale watching conditions today in Port 🐋

Calm ocean, moody sky & only a slight breeze. A balmy winters day really 🧐

Whilst I did not spot a whale, I did enjoy a moment of quiet reflection & the company of a chatty Rufous Bristlebird singing his little heart out 🎶

Perhaps reminding me about the whale he saw yesterday - yes, there was a whale in the bay, which caused quite a bit of excitement!

Keep an eye on the horizon 🔭

When Billy Connolly said something to the effect of “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing, so get yourself a sexy raincoat and live a little”, I reckon he was onto something! 🧥

Port Campbell’s Discovery Walk awakens the senses no matter the weather. For me today it was very much about the sounds, smells and the feels rather than the sights - that’s what happens when you’re short sighted and your prescription sunnies fog up covered in rain 🌧️

Walking through the bush right by the ocean on a gorgeous rainy/sunny/calm/windy/cold/balmy spring day I certainly felt alive 😆

You can too - go get that jacket!!
