Good with your hands? Like variety? Prefer getting things done to sitting behind a desk?
We’re looking for a practical, reliable person to join the Star Resorts Property Care team full-time across our Port Douglas resorts.
No two days are quite the same. You might be:
💧 Keeping our pools & spas sparkling
🌿 Doing some light gardening, mowing & outdoor care
🔧 Fixing the little things that inevitably need fixing
🏨 Carrying out maintenance in guest apartments
✨ Keeping public areas looking sharp
🛠 Learning pool care, preventative maintenance, air-con servicing and more

You don’t need to be a qualified tradie. We’re much more interested in someone practical, capable, reliable and willing to learn.

Already an experienced handyman or tradie? This could also be a great change if you’re ready for steady full-time work without quoting jobs, chasing invoices or running your own business. You might even look at a team leader or Area Leader role 🤷🏻

Star Resorts is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Area Lead to oversee housekeeping operations across our Port Douglas resort properties.

This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside a great team to ensure our apartments and resort spaces are beautifully presented for guests arriving from around the world.

🛏️ At Star Resorts we use the title Area Lead, reflecting our hands-on leadership style. In many larger hotels this role would be equivalent to a Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
