How great is the walkability of Port Fairy. So many great short walking options. Our favourite is over the Moyne River footbridge to Battery Hill along the training walls and then along little East Beach. You never know what you might see other than great views around every corner.

Griffiths Island Lighthouse would be one of the most photographed structures in Port Fairy for a very good reason. A constant in an ever changing environment. If you haven't taken a photo of the lighthouse have you really been to Port Fairy ?

Port Fairy is so lucky to have many interesting shops to explore. Blarney Books & Art at 37 James St is must visit with a huge range of quality new & preloved books & unique artworks and also is a wonderful and intimate venue for great live music performances.

We love the Port Fairy - Warrnambool Rail. The 38km Port Fairy Rail Trail is a great way to take in the rolling countryside for which the region is famous for. We welcome all cyclists and those who enjoy a walk in nature to spend a night or two in our centrally located motel - right in the middle of Sackville St and only 200 metres for the Rail Trail starting point.
