🎙🏆🌍 2026 TAG WORLD CUP - THE UNSUNG HEROES! 🏉
The 2026 TAG World Cup has officially come to an end, but there's one group of people who deserve special recognition REFEREES! 👏
A huge congratulations and thank you to all 80 referees from across the participating countries who helped make this tournament possible.
While the players and teams often take the spotlight, these referees work tirelessly behind the scenes, and their contribution should never go unnoticed.
These referees were selected for a number of reasons, but one of the most important is their commitment to our sport at grassroots level. They're the referees who turn up at local competitions, week in and week out, putting in the time and doing the hard work.
Let's be very clear: You cannot expect to referee at the highest level of our sport if you're not actively officiating at the local level.
The pathway to the world stage starts at your local competition. That's where you develop your skills, gain experience and earn the opportunity to represent your country.
To all 80 referees, congratulations on your selection and achievements. You've earned your place on the world stage, and you should be proud.
👏 THANK YOU, REFEREES. RESPECT THE REFEREES. RESPECT THE GAME.
