✨ What a fantastic Gatsby night at the Ravenshoe Hotel! ✨
We’ve been overwhelmed by the wonderful response from our community—the phone calls, kind words on the night and heartfelt thanks for providing a place to come together and celebrate Torimba. It means so much to us. 💛🙏🥰
Seeing everyone dressed up, enjoying dinner, dancing and sharing a laugh was exactly what we hoped for. 🤩
Our team worked throughout the day and into the night to provide great food and welcoming service. Hari provided food all day, and we also had food available outside the hotel, including pizzas, hot chips and ice cream for the kids! 🍕🍟🍦
We are incredibly grateful to our entire team for their hard work, dedication and care in helping make the evening such a success. 💗
🎶 A special thank-you to Darrin and Selena from Electric Dreamers, who have been playing at the hotel since we reopened in 2013. They’ve been part of so many wonderful occasions here, and it was lovely to have them bringing the music and Gatsby spirit to our celebration! 😍

We carefully considered whether to open for this year’s celebrations and chose to provide a welcoming place for our community to enjoy Torimba together. Your support meant so much to us.
Sadly, a serious assault on a patron occurred during the evening, and security intervened. Our thoughts are with the patron, and we will stay in contact on their recovery. Violence is unacceptable, and we take the safety of our guests and staff seriously.
Thank you to everyone who showed kindness and respect throughout the celebrations. That community spirit is something we deeply value. 💛
A very special thank-you to the Torimba Committee and all the volunteers and supporters who have worked so hard behind the scenes to make this such a tremendous festival so far. Your dedication, time and effort are truly appreciated, and the whole community has benefited from everything you have done. ❤️
