If you need your faith in humanity restored, and not in a religious way, then read on. On route to Robe SA, 80km to go and the Hilux dropped a timing belt, end result, totally smashed the engine. Gutted! Stuck on the side of the road, 30deg, faded phone signal, stranded with the company of a decomposing kangaroo, two strangers stopped to offer help.......... A few hours later, RAA towed the Hilux to Milicent, in the interim, Barry Buchanan drove up from Robe and retrieved our trailer/ Karen, and the kind strangers, Lyndal and Matt Johns, handed over the keys to their Landcruiser so I could get to Robe, and for use for a couple of days - total strangers gave us their car to get us out of trouble. 😳 Our good friends Andrew (The Little Dive Shed Robe) and Linda Tait (Robe Getaways) have now interim loaned us a car until our mate, Martin James Hegarty sends over his Hilux to get us home. Our great neighbors Greg and Marg have offered the use of a shade shelter, so we can go to the beach. Let's not forget Beano, a dear friend, despite undergoing cancer treatment, offered to help coordinate access to a replacement car from back home. And finally, Pat Davis, (Birregurra Breakdown and Towing), on short notice and in the holiday period, is floating our deceased lux back home. We are very grateful to you all, you are amazing people, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Sails Holiday Rental Robe SA
