We were thrilled to see Allambi Retreat featured on Channel 7's The Morning Show as part of Mater Cars for Cancer campaign.

Nestled amongst the natural beauty of Cedar Creek, in the heart of the Samford Valley, Allambi Retreat was proud to feature as part of a campaign helping raise awareness and support for cancer research and patient care across Queensland.

With the recent rain bringing everything to life, it was lovely to see the property looking so green, vibrant and full of character.

What a feed!

Pete's BBQ truly delivered over the weekend, cooking up a storm for the RAW Commercial Projects team at their annual family gathering. We simply can't speak highly enough of the service, and the food was incredible, not just the meat, but the sides were an absolute highlight as well. Even better were the leftovers to enjoy the next day.

If you're after catering at your next event or family gathering, we highly recommend.

Two years ago, a group of incredible volunteers came together at Allambi Retreat to plant a huge native garden bed along with a large number of koala habitat trees 🌱
At the time, many of the plants were tiny, some were just 6 inch saplings. Fast forward to today, and those same trees are now reaching up to 5 metres tall. What was once bare space is now a thriving, living environment in just two years!
These before and now photos really say it all.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and care to make this happen. This is what’s possible when people come together with a bit of vision and a lot of heart.
It’s also a reminder that with the right attention and patience, we can create something truly beautiful using native plants, supporting not just the landscape, but local wildlife as well.

We were in absolute awe as the Closeburn Rural Fire Brigade carried out a Hazard Reduction Burn right here on the property earlier this week. The operation went off seamlessly, with the team expertly containing the burn within the designated area.

Not only does this work significantly reduce the fire threat to our home, land and surrounding neighbourhood, it also helps rejuvenate the Aussie bush, removing invasive weeds and giving native flora the space to thrive. It’s truly incredible to witness such an important and transformative process unfold right here at Allambi.

Their contributions extend far beyond firefighting, as they play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community in numerous ways.
