Sherwood Farm is a tranquil NSW escape for holidays, retreats, and events.

A quick update on our 2027 calendar.

January last week still available.

February few more weekends left.

March is almost fully booked, with just one midweek stay still available. April is filling quickly too, and there are a couple of midweek dates left in May.

If you’re dreaming of a winter celebration or gathering, June still has some weekend availability, July and August has a mix of midweek and weekend dates available.

Sherwood Farm is beautiful in every season. Winter brings its own kind of magic: gather around the fire pit, enjoy the peaceful bushland, and make the most of those sunny days outdoors. You can still soak in the heated spa, enjoy the tennis and basketball, and spend time together in the fresh country air kayaking.

Our new Gathering Paddock is also taking shape, with plans for another fire pit area, soccer field a children’s playground, a covered structure and more space for dancing and celebrations.

After showing guests around Sherwood Farm, we were talking about how much this property offers and how special it feels to bring your family and friends together here.

With its wide-open paddocks, peaceful forest, unique stays and space to slow down, it’s a setting you really need to see and feel for yourself.

If you’re planning a wedding or special celebration, we’d love to show you around. Viewings are available by appointment, and you’re welcome to come relax, stay few hours,a day or two...and definitely take a walk through the forest, kayak, swim in the pool and soak up the feeling of the place.

Dates for 2027 and 2028 are booking quickly.
And of course our new gathering paddock project ready in 2027 will make this place even more special.

A little guide to help you feel prepared for your Sherwood Farm stay

A little space of your own

Our cottages are tucked away from the Pavilion, giving guests a little more privacy and space to unwind.

First is Ironbark Cottage faces beautiful views of the paddock and dam, where you may spot cheeky pony Stefano, Bambi the deer and our sheep.

Second Blue Gum Cottage welcomes beautiful sunrise with dam views

Third Grey Gum Cottage sits up on the hill with deer paddocks right on your doorstep.

last one-Spotted Gum Cottage is tucked away with the forest as your backyard a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy nature.

Each cottage has two bedrooms: one with a king bed and another with two single beds. For full-site bookings, extra trundle beds can be added to the bedrooms with single beds.

Each cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and freezer, cooktop and washing machine, plus a cosy fireplace, barbecue and spacious deck.

What to pack

Bring your swimwear to enjoy the pool at the Pavilion, have a swim in the dam and soak up the sunshine. Pack comfortable walking shoes for exploring, and gumboots if rain is expected and you’d like to wander through the paddocks, take the forest walk or discover our hidden waterfall. A warm layer for the evening and your personal essentials will come in handy too.

Shared spaces

The cottages share a beautiful picnic area with kayaks nearby and a fire pit for gathering together. Firewood is provided for guests.

We provide lovely Pure Earth toiletries infused with essential oils, linens bath towels, and a starter supply of coffee, tea and sugar.

A little note about reception

As Sherwood Farm is surrounded by bushland, mobile reception might be limited in some spots.
Wi-Fi is available in most cottages, though it may drop out in Spotted Gum and Blue Gum. We’ve left some old-school DVDs, lovely books and wellness magazines for a slower kind of evening.

We send separate pre-arrival notes for Pavilion and cottage check-in, but feel free to share this guide with your cottage guests so they know what to pack and what to look forward to.

Something exciting is taking shape at Sherwood Farm!

Plans are officially underway for our new Gathering Paddock.

I walked through this part of the property a few days ago, and it really made me realise just how special this space is. A beautiful, expansive corner tucked amongst the trees, with so much potential for bringing people together.

We envision a beautiful ceremony space flowing into our new covered Gathering Paddock - a dedicated place to gather, dine, connect and host your special event.

And there’s more planned… a soccer field, lawn games,and if might also add in the future wellness and recovery spaces, a gym, and plenty of room to simply enjoy the surroundings.

Sherwood Farm is evolving into something truly unique a place to stay, gather, celebrate and reconnect, all in one incredible setting.

If you’ve been thinking about hosting something special with us, we recommend securing your dates early. 2027 is already filling quickly, and bookings for 2028 are now open.

Sherwood Farm was filled with family and friends celebrating the wedding of Jasmin & Matty.
They brought their vision to life and created something truly beautiful. Every detail was filled with so much love, care and happiness - including their very own-build incredible dance floor! Jules Wildwood | Fire & Fly captured it all perfectly.

A handful of 2026 dates still remain

We have limited weekends available throughout July and August, plus the first weekends of September, October, November and December still open for bookings.

Christmas and New Year's Eve are now fully booked, and with enquiries arriving daily, the remaining dates won't last long.

Gather your favourite people and escape to 500 acres of private countryside, with exclusive access to forest walks, kayaking, a swimming pool, tennis court, breathtaking open spaces and accommodation thoughtfully spread across the estate for complete privacy.
