Barista(s) Required!

Have you noticed the Coffee Van outside the Reception at The Lodge?
We are shortly going to start serving Coffee, Tea, Pies, Sausage Rolls, Snacks and Sandwiches out of the Coffee Van every morning.

We are looking for a Coffee Barista on a casual basis to work in our new Coffee Van:

This role will have you in a Coffee Van that is setup at the entrance of the Lodge Motel, to make awesome Coffee for the community and the Guests at the Motel.
You will be producing consistent, high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment and serving a variety of café foods. A high calibre of food safety standards and customer service are required in the role.
Essential criteria:
Barista training or equivalent - must be great at making coffee!
Possess a can-do attitude.
Physically fit to meet the role.
Ability to work a roster, weekend work required.

The Lodge South Hedland is looking for new team members that can work as experienced handyperson / nighttime security.

The role will involve:
- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as required including and not limited to (gardening, painting, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, replacing tap washers, fault finding, cleaning)
- Providing induction and supervision of external contractors;
- Work with motel manager to ensure out-of-order areas of the motel are brought back into use as soon as possible;
- Nighttime security to ensure safety of Guests and be available should anyone be locked out or need assistance throughout the night

The successful applicant will have:
- Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
- Strong time management skills;
- An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication

Attractive hourly rates and rental subsidy available.

Port Hedland community we have heard you loud and clear!

Let's talk Bali flights! If they were commercially viable, airlines would already be flying there.

For nearly three years, we at Port Hedland International Airport have been working hard to make these flights a reality.

Today, CEO Simon Taylor from Pilbara Development Commission, CEO Tony Simpson from Regional Development Australia (Pilbara) and CEO Dave Batic from Port Hedland International Airport met with Federal Government representatives from Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, and Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to discuss sustainable international services from Port Hedland.
