"Pauline's Piffle" this time is about free speech which she wants enshrined in the AUSTRALIAN Constitution, but not in One Nation's Constitution.

Tom Connell takes up on Dana Daniel's previous question where the entire Canberra ON Branch have been banned from speaking to media and asks:

"You've got free speech on your policy, the website there, that you'll push for constitutional protection of free speech and work to repeal any laws that restrict it.

So speaking of the local branches, if you had those free speech law, would they allow One Nation to have any restrictions on media silence, social media bans or gag orders or people within branches"?

So many comments on these National Press Club clips this week have been "answer the bloody question".

I now know why Hanson doesn't answer the questions, it's because she doesn't UNDERSTAND the question. You'll see in this clip where she has to re-think her first answer to Tom's question.

The thing is, though, if One Nation cannot run a branch structure, how is it going to govern Australia? (Question WAS rhetorical, Dear Readers).

It's not Hanson's fault!! She had a bad example as her role model! Joh served as Premier of Queensland for 19 years, from August 1968 to December 1987, and we had a lot to worry about that!

"Pauline's Piffle #16" with Dana Daniel from the Canberra Times.

"You launched a Canberra branch of One Nation in November, but I don't believe it's held a meeting.

"No members have been allowed to speak to media. I'm wondering whether you have an active supporter base in the ACT?

"And Canberra cops a lot of criticism from conservatives. You've spent a lot of time here in your career. How do you rate the nation's capital"?

This is a DIRECT QUOTE of the answer she gives to the Canberra Press Gallery:

"I try to keep out of it as much as I possibly can"!

"Pauline's Piffle #14" where John Paul Janke from NITV learns that she don't like darkies.

"I want to talk about your Indigenous affairs portfolio.

"You mentioned one of the aspects of that there. You called it the ''Aborigines department''. It's the National Indigenous Australians Agency.

"You want to abolish that.

"It was set up by the Coalition government. You want to abolish it. You've identified that will save $4.5 billion in the programs and grants it provides.

"What are you envisaging happens to that money?

"Does it go back to mainstream departments? Because those programs fund things like housing, essential infrastructure, water security, jobs, ranger programmes, cost-of-living measures, family and children's safety centres.

"What happens to those services if that money is taken out of that grant program?

"What happens to those Australians who live in remote communities"?

And yes, she mentions ATSIC, which John Howard abolished from 24 March 2005.

"Pauline's Piffle #13" where Tom Connell (Sky and the National Press Club host) picks up on Sara Martin's prior question ( www.facebook.com/reel/1584378347034431 ) about Lee Hanson being employed by NSW Senator Sean Bell.

"You have had a lot of criticism of the major parties for the - you say - poor standards that everyday Australians wouldn't accept.

"Do you get the optics of someone working in Tasmania while they're working for someone based in New South Wales"?

And Pauline retorts: a Federal Minister employing someone in Tassie seems fair enough to me, and contrasts strongly with NSW Seantor Sean Bell employing someone in Tassie to do party work.

Piffle #12 - Here's the one with Sarah Martin from the Guardian. Not so much piffle as a complete meltdown.

"Taxpayers are paying more than $150,000 a year for your daughter to seemingly campaign full-time in Tasmania, while employed as a political adviser for a New South Wales senator.

"Did you have any role in appointing her to that position"?

"Pauline's Piffle" #7 with Phil Coorey (Fin Rev)

You didn't mention in your speech but you've been critical in the past about foreign aid. About foreign aid?

Over the past decade or so, as we've seen the sort of rise of China in the region and governments here of both persuasions, Coalition and Labor, have increasingly relied on aid as a form of soft diplomacy, especially in the Pacific, to push back at the incursion, if you like, of China.

Have you changed your views on foreign aid?

Do you see a value in it from a geostrategic position? Are you still, you know, largely opposed?

Are you still of the same view as you held for a long time?

(National Press Club, 17 June 2026)

And she's out there now trying to deny it.

The day after CPAC (11 Oct 2026) Pauline Hanson went on Sky News and told us who her preferred prime minister was. I could say it was a surprising choice. Surprising she didn't realise he hasn't a hope in Hades.

Although I think that ultimately. the successful applicant might not be an ultimate success.
