These converted shipping containers, with comfortable king single beds, TV, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, and linen provided (with shared bathrooms), you’ve got everything you need for a great night’s sleep after a big day of riding.

And the adventure doesn’t stop at your door! You’ll have access to MTB Base, with a group camp kitchen, communal firepit, bike maintenance bay and laundry, plus all the facilities at BIG4 Tassie Getaway Parks St Helens, including camp kitchens, BBQ areas, laundry facilities and park events.

Pancakes with a purpose!

At Tassie Getaway Parks St Helens, we’ve been flipping pancakes, serving up smiles and raising money for a wonderful local cause.

We’re delighted to share that this year, our Pancake Wednesdays raised an incredible $1,710, which we've donated to the St Helens Hospital Auxiliary!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for pancakes and helped make this donation possible. Your support, one pancake at a time, is helping make a difference in our local community.

Holiday for a cause this August!

Looking for a getaway with a little more meaning? Join the Friends of Larapuna Coast for their Larapuna Community Weekend, 21–23 August 2026.

This incredible Wildcare group brings volunteers together to explore some of Tasmania's most beautiful coastline while helping protect it.

Volunteers will walk the beaches, survey and remove invasive sea spurge, collect marine debris and help improve habitat for beach-nesting birds such as the Hooded Plover. And along the way? Plenty of fresh air, incredible scenery and great company.

You can join for one day or the whole weekend, with walks ranging from 6–13km:

Friday: Stumpys Bay to Deep Creek – 13km
Saturday: Deep Creek to Eddystone Point – 6km or 9km options
Sunday: Abbotsbury Beach – 7km

It's a wonderful way to experience Tasmania's East Coast while giving something back to the places that make it so special.

Please note: participants must already be registered with Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service as a volunteer and register for each day.
