Grounds and Maintenance Allrounder

* 2-3 shifts per week, 3 hours per shift (will vary with season/time of year)
* Preferably Tuesday and Friday, each week.
* Hourly rate will be relevant to level of experience, the option of direct employment or a subcontract arrangement may be possible.
* Reliability is a MUST!
* Immediate Start

This role typically requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn new tasks.

🪜 General Building Repairs: This can include minor painting and plastering, basic plumbing and electrical work, and some carpentry tasks.
🍃 Groundskeeping: Maintaining the appearance and functionality of outdoor areas, including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and managing irrigation systems.
💡 Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving issues with various systems and equipment.
🦺 Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols during maintenance tasks.
👥 Collaboration: Working with other staff and management to address maintenance needs.

Examples of Specific Tasks, but not limited to:
* Changing lightbulbs, fuses, or switches.
* Cleaning gutters and repairing small leaks.
* Assisting with landscaping tasks like weeding, planting, or pruning.
* Troubleshooting and repair as necessary.
* Operating and maintaining equipment like lawnmowers, blower vac. All equipment and tools provided.

Skills Required:
🪠Technical Skills: basic experience in trades like plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
🤔 Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
💪 Physical Strength and Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
🔎 Attention to Detail: Ensuring quality of work and attention to safety regulations.
📣 Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with staff and management.
🙌 Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and tasks.
⏰ Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

This role would be the perfect fit for someone who is semi-retired or has flexibility around other part time commitments.
