Can you believe it? Fourteen years ago, Birdcage opened its doors on King Street for all the le***an, q***r, trans and GNC folk of our humble town. Since then we’ve facilitated countless sapphic encounters, dancefloor crushes, shared ciggies, PDAs, drag/shows, first-time disc jockeys, lifelong friendships, UHAULs, dramatic exits, dramatic returns and more than just a few emotional breakthroughs.
 What started as a weekly party has grown into a second home for literally hundreds&thousands of people. We remain Sydney/Eora’s only consistent weekly sapphic night and, thanks to you all, we’re still here 14 years later 🎂
 To celebrate, we’re flying out of our usual Wednesday night habitat and taking over The Abercrombie for one very special XXL birthday edition. On top of our usual Wednesday birthday affair, this will be our very first Friday night Birdcage, and we’d love for you to join us 💖
