Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our 2026 Familiarisation event at Harbour Lodge.

We welcomed educational travel partners from around the country for a 2-day, 1-night stay. From kayaking and snorkeling to bushwalking through to Taronga Zoo, ferrying across Sydney Harbour, dinner at Four Frogs Crêperie and soaking up Vivid Sydney, they got to experience Harbour Lodge and everything we offer at Chowder Bay just like their groups would.

It’s always so valuable to bring our partners into the experience, so they can see, feel and share it firsthand.

We were proud to welcome the Year 11 boarders from Knox Grammar School to Chowder Bay for their Knox Total Fitness Camp this year again.

From kayaking and paddle boarding to bushwalking and meaningful goal-setting, the weekend was designed to build resilience, character and connection beyond the classroom.

Salary: $32.31 per hour

We're looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as Casual Guest Service Coordinators.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience a hospitality role like no other, just 250 metres from Clifton Gardens beach - imagine relaxing with a swim after your shift during summer days!

Join the Land’s Edge Foundation team as a Guest Services Coordinator at our Harbour Lodge in the picturesque Chowder Bay (Mosman), NSW.

This is perfect for an individual who is customer-service focussed and needs flexibility in their schedule.

This role involves overseeing our 83-bed accommodation facility and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests who are primarily school groups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures
- Maintain cleanliness and prepare rooms
- Assist in food preparation and service
- Manage stock and coordinate with suppliers
- Group on-site point of contact

REQUIREMENTS:

- NSW Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR qualification (or willing to obtain)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Available to work a 7 day roster, centered around breakfast & dinner times

DESIRABLE:

- Experience in food preparation, cleaning, or hospitality
- Interest in outdoor activities or education
