Temps have dropped, snow guns are firing, and light snow is falling. Light snow showers this morning with strong winds before the snowfalls increase this afternoon in Victoria and then up into NSW later. Should be some decent snow by tomorrow morning. Take care on the roads as there will be black ice around after the overnight freeze.

There are series of fronts that will move across the mountains and we should have a bit of a mixed bag with showers and rain early in the week. From early on the 3rd to the 5th we could see some light snow up top. Temps look to be marginal, so we will see showers as well. Another cold front on the 7th and then the 10th should drop a little more snow. The weather charts/models are flip flopping a bit with these, so there is still hope we could see the predicted snow totals increase over the coming week. 🐸

Incoming!!! A very cold blast will hit the mountains overnight with snowfalls to very low levels tomorrow. Winds will be very strong with blizzard conditions, so take care if you are on the roads in the high country, especially in Victoria, where the snow will reach very low levels.
