🎱 SUNDAY POOL COMP WRAP — SMALL FIELD, BIG HEART! 🎱

The long weekend thinned the ranks this week! Holidays, the NRL Grand Final and a few no-shows all took their toll — even the Ring Meister was missing in action. 😅

With only 7 players (one shy of our usual minimum of 😎, the crew agreed to run the comp anyway — with a latecomer or a cheeky second-chance buy-back allowed. The show must go on! 🎱

🏆 Winner: Gavin — 70%
🥈 Runner-Up: Will — 30%

And a special mention — in the pre-comp warm-ups, Chrissy won 7 in a row 👀… a warning of things to come! ⚠️

Still a cracking afternoon with plenty of laughs. Hopefully we've got the full field back next week — come fill those spots! 💪

Big thanks to Les & Gav for holding the reins while Mark's overseas. 🙌

See you all next Sunday — registration from 1:30pm, play kicks off at 2pm. Come have a crack!

LATE POST - SUNDAY POOL COMP RESULTS
🏆 🎱
— THE TRIPLE CROWN! 🎱

What an awesome afternoon on the table AND in the sports bar! 15 players fronted up for a ripper. 😎

🏆 Winner: "The Surgeon" Pete MacGregor — 70%
🥈 Runner-Up: "MP" Mark Peters — 30%
🎉 Semi-finalists "Gold Coast Scotty" & "Wilbur" — vouchers
🍀 Random attendance vouchers to "The Lizard" & "Magpie"

While the crew watched the mighty Knights charge through to the Grand Final 🏉, our number one and two ranked players — MP and The Surgeon — potted their way to the GF. It came down to the black ball 🎱… but the Surgeon done it AGAIN and made it the TRIPLE CROWN — yes, 3 consecutive weeks on top! 👑👑👑

Great to see a Gold Coast visitor jump in, make the semis and collect a voucher too. 🙌 All players stayed on for the mega draw and a few more beverages. 🍻
