🎡✨ The Safari Lodge Motel team had an amazing time at the Tennant Creek Show!

It was wonderful to see our community come together for a day filled with entertainment, local talent, delicious food, and fantastic market stalls. We couldn’t resist taking home a few goodies from the stalls there were so many unique products and treats to choose from! 🛍️🎁 Supporting local businesses and community groups is something we’re always proud to do.

Events like the Tennant Creek Show remind us why we love being part of the Barkly community. A huge congratulations and thank you to all the organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, and stallholders who made the day such a success.

If you’re visiting Tennant Creek, we’d love to welcome you to Safari Lodge Motel, where you’ll experience genuine outback hospitality in the heart of the Barkly.

What was your favourite part of the show? Share your highlights in the comments, we’d love to hear about them! 🤠

Dearest Tennant Creek ❤️
There have been places we visited that really took us by surprise, and Tennant Creek is definitely right there on the top. The love and support we felt from you was out of this world. You guys have such a loving, strong community. We want to start by thanking Amy from Tennant Creek Uniting Church for contacting us and inviting us to trade from the church when we were looking for a place to trade and to Andrew from Tennant Creek Speedway Club for inviting us last night to join the fun of the races, and to everyone else that contacted us offering their business or an idea of where we could trade. Thank you to your lovely Mayor Sid as well for getting back to us regarding our public permit and Peter from the council.
This time we didn't have enough time to check the surroundings, but on our way south we will make sure to check Lake Mary, the Pebbles and join the Mine tour.
We hope you all enjoyed your chimneys and ice creams and we hope to see you later in the year 😀

We will recycle the bottles and preserve the note.

Thank you Ralph for the thoughtful gesture.

Proud to stand behind the Tennant Creek Volleyball Club and supporting local sports 🏐💛

Seeing the passion, teamwork and dedication from everyone involved is what community is all about.
This men and women team have been sweating it all year around in practice and training, now it’s time to shine on the big stage in Alice Springs this weekend.

Wishing the entire team the very best for the upcoming tournament. Play hard, stay united and enjoy every moment out there. Your community is cheering you on every step of the way! 💪🔥
