Another magnificent experience in PNG! ❤️Dinner at MUMU at the Hilton was absolutely sublime. Chicken that was kissed by flames, so moist and had a charcoal, smoke flavour that danced in your mouth. Oh my! So simple but so divine!
Not only foodie heaven but the beautiful staff are just exceptional. ❤️

Today I began a new position with OzHarvest Melbourne as Chef in the Cooking for a Cause Program.
A cause very close to my heart.❤️
Here I will facilitate cooking sessions with Corporate participants with rescued food, making meals to be distributed through Oz Harvest affiliated agencies.
Any of my Corporate friends out there, this is an amazing team building experience and what a cause! I look forward to seeing some of you soon. 🤗

For the past few years I have been an active member of LRG. I do life drawing there but they also have the most amazing range of local Artists’ wares for sale. Christmas shopping is very easy at the Gallery and you are supporting local artists and business.

Well today, 5 years ago, I did my first dinner service at Catinalla’s. And what a night it was! One I will never forget.
The hype, the buzz and pure excitement of putting a dream into reality. It was the beginning of a five year experience that I will never forget. There were highs, there were lows and everything in between.
The people and friends that I have met, the customers that have become friends and the customers that have come from Melbourne and beyond to visit us. I thank you all.
Your appreciation of my food, my story and my passion for my family has made the hard five year slog worth every second.
In these uncertain times, I feel so privileged for having the guts to give Small business a go for the third time, for coming out a different person and for realising life is to be lived. And making mistakes, making decisions and staying true to your self and your beliefs, is worth every second.
Today I handed in the keys to Catinalla’s.
It is over.
I have been, I have conquered, I have moved on.

What an awesome bunch of Gippslanders from the hospitality and food service sector gathered today at Duart Homestead

A thoroughly collaborative afternoon of issue discussion, idea sharing and sampling the products of two of our members👌🏻

There was a big thumbs up 👍🏻 for the combo of freshly baked artisan sourdough from
seasalt_bakery generously spread with the seriously delicious new cultured butter from Gippsland Jersey 🐄 🧈

John from Manny’s Market Morwell shared his new venture and system that is addressing food waste and creating a nutrient rich product that goes back into the soil, resulting in incredible quality vegetables and herbs.
