Hi everyone, ‘Happy New Year’
I’m definitely late in greeting everyone this year but unfortunately life has been hectic in our household. We are doing some major renovations in our garden/verandah at home, it’s very exciting for us but it’s now time to let the experts do their magic and for us to get back to normal.
At this time of year many of us have a tidy up and reorganise our sewing rooms, I love moving the furniture about to clean behind or perhaps put it in a different position. I also allow myself some relaxing time looking at planned projects, reading through the many patterns that I imagine I have time to make. I also like to decide on which projects are a priority, and also which WIP’s will make it to the quilting stage this year. I keep a notebook and list projects that need finishing; it feels so good when I get to tick some of them off.
I would love to hear how you start your year off; are you like me or are you still madly finishing off projects. Perhaps you have other things that you like to do to start the year off in your sewing rooms. It would be nice if you could send some pictures from your sewing rooms, perhaps a sewing collectable, a piece of furniture or a quilt that you have displayed.
I can’t wait to hear what your New Year Sewing Room Routine is and to see your favourite things.
I’ll leave you with some pictures of a few of my favourite things.
I look forward to hearing from you.
If you’re interested in making a booking we still have some vacancies during the year.
