A little bit of excitement from the farm today... again! 🌅❄️🍒

This frosty winter sunrise captured at THE CHERRY BOYS – YARRA VALLEY was featured by Jane Bunn on tonight's Channel 7 Weather report.

Our guests from Singapore enjoyed this magical final sunrise before heading home, with kangaroos grazing in the paddocks, mist drifting across the valley, and the first golden rays lighting up the orchard and surrounding hills.

A beautiful reminder of why winter mornings in the Yarra Valley are so special.

21-6-26 WINTER SOLSTICE SUNRISE

A magical Winter Solstice sunrise this morning, shared with our lovely guests from Singapore. 🌅 Two hot air balloons floated across the valley as the first golden light broke through the clouds—a beautiful start to the shortest day of the year.

Captured this morning as the fog rolled across the orchard before breaking into a spectacular sunrise, it was one of those magical moments that makes country life so special.

A huge thank you to the Channel 7 Weather team for sharing our image with viewers across Victoria. It's always exciting to see a little piece of our beautiful farm and the Yarra Valley showcased on television.

Mornings like these are why we never tire of the view. 💛

3 Years of Fig Orchard Cabin
Farm Stay 🌿🎉

Three years ago we welcomed our very first guests, and what an incredible journey it has been.

Since then we've shared countless sunrises and sunsets, wildlife encounters, peaceful country escapes, special birthdays, anniversaries, and many treasured moments with guests from near and far.

We've watched guests slow down and reconnect with nature, and each autumn we've loved sharing the fig harvest with visitors from across Australia and around the world.

What started as a dream has become something truly special, thanks to every guest who has chosen to stay with us.

To all our wonderful guests — thank you for your support, your kind words, and for allowing us to be a small part of your memories.

FARM STAYS - Every morning on the farm writes its own story.
Some arrive wrapped in mist, some wake to gentle sunshine, and then there are mornings like this one... where the sky bursts into colour and stops you in your tracks.

One of the unexpected joys of a farm stay is never quite knowing what you'll wake up to. Today, it was this breathtaking canvas of fiery reds, pinks and golds stretching across the valley.

Some views you just never get tired of… 🍁
Our neighbours across the road (Wandin Valley Cherries) have the most magnificent driveway — absolutely glowing in these rich autumn colours at the moment. It’s a stunning sight every time we pass by and such a beautiful reminder of the changing seasons.
Fresh air, open skies, and scenes like this… country life really is something special.
