⛈️⚡ What an incredible storm around midday today! Marble-sized hail, deafening thunder, torrential rain and spectacular lightning lighting up the sky! 🌩️ Mother Nature certainly put on a show today! 😳🌧️

Oh, how lucky we are to call this beautiful place home. 💜🌅 Waking up to ever-changing skies, peaceful country mornings and nature putting on a show right outside our door. No filters, just the beauty of nature as it was, before the sun broke through. 🧡

We’re so grateful to live in such a special place and even more grateful to share it with our wonderful guests from all over the world, who appreciate its beauty as much as we do. There’s something truly special about being able to share these little moments of magic with others. ❤️🌿

💜 Wisteria is Almost in Full Bloom at the Cherry Orchard Cabin 🌿

For the next few weeks, the Cherry Orchard Cabin will be surrounded by one of the farm’s most beautiful seasonal displays.

The wisteria is bursting into bloom, cascading in dreamy shades of lavender and purple around the cabin. 💜

With the gentle hum of bees, fresh country air and beautiful views in every direction, it’s a truly special time to experience the farm.

Wake up surrounded by colour, wander through the peaceful orchards and enjoy the wisteria putting on its spectacular show right outside your door.

One of the greatest joys of hosting is seeing our guests experience the farm through fresh eyes — and we absolutely loved welcoming our wonderful guests from Singapore. 🇸🇬❤️ (September 2026)

Over their four days with us, it was so special hearing how much they loved every little part of farm life — from the kangaroos hopping through the property 🦘, to the beautiful blossom and the feeling of the farm slowly coming alive as the season changes. 🌸🌿

They loved the vast open spaces, the peacefulness, the fresh country air, and those magical evenings under a full sky of stars… and even the beauty of a full moon lighting up the farm. 🌕✨

For us, sharing this place with guests who genuinely appreciate its beauty makes hosting so rewarding. Hearing their excitement and seeing how much they enjoyed the simple magic of the farm was a real highlight for us.

Farm life is constantly transforming 🌱🚜

Seeding completed 28-09-2026:

Where cherries once grew, these paddocks are now taking on a whole new chapter. 🍒➡️🌾

We’re still growing figs and finger limes, while for the first time, we’ve seeded these paddocks with hay.

The seeding is done, and now comes the fun part… watching the grass grow! 🌱

From cherries to figs, finger limes and now hay — the farm continues to evolve with the seasons. 🌿💚

One farm, many chapters, always growing.

🍒🌿❤️ Celebrating 10 Years of Cherry Orchard Cabin ❤️🌿🍒

10 years today 21/9/26 - We can hardly believe it.

Ten years of opening our doors and welcoming so many wonderful people into our little piece of paradise in the Yarra Valley.

When we first started Cherry Orchard Cabin, we never imagined the journey would bring us so many beautiful people, stories and memories.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed couples, families, babymooners, brides-to-be and guests from all around the world. We’ve celebrated anniversaries, birthdays and special milestones, watched families grow, and even welcomed some guests back with a tiny new addition in their arms. 🥹❤️

We’ve shared beautiful sunrises, golden sunsets, misty mornings, star-filled nights, full moons, hot air balloons drifting over the orchard, mobs of kangaroos grazing peacefully across the farm, wildlife wandering through and birdsong in abundance. 🦘🐦🍒

And for many of our guests, it has been their first real experience of life on a working farm — up close and personal.
They’ve had the chance to see, learn and experience what happens beyond the farm gate — to understand the changing seasons, walk amongst the orchard, witness harvest and discover the care, hard work and connection to the land that goes into producing what ultimately reaches our tables.

We’ve loved seeing the excitement on our guests’ faces as they discover something new, ask questions and gain a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from. 🌿🍒

And through every season, we’ve been reminded just how incredibly lucky we are to call this place home — and how special it is to be able to share it with others.
