Hughes Park is a large historic property and homestead which was built by Sir Walter Watson Hughes back in 1845, who was the co-founder of Adelaide University, and discovered/owned th

e Wallaroo/Moonta Mines. Since then Hughes Park has been a sheep farming property which is now in its sixth generation with Andrew Duncan running the farm with his wife Alice and 4 children Daisy, Millie, Sophia and Tom. Hughes Park was once the home of the Old Rose Gardens/Business run by Andrew’s Uncle, Walter Duncan (5thGeneration) which has now moved down the road to Sevenhill.
