Waurn Ponds Estate is a boutique conference venue and hotel nestled amongst expansive grounds on the doorstep to the Great Ocean Road. The Estate consists of 60 contemporary accommodation rooms, eight technology-rich conference spaces and extensive breakout areas, making it the ultimate venue for conferences and business events. The eight conference spaces at the Estate all feature sweeping views

through floor to ceiling windows and state of the art AV equipment. They can accommodate anywhere from 10 people for a meeting, up to 154 theatre-style in the Torquay Room. Great food is a big part of what we do at the Estate and we’re proud to showcase this using local produce. The stunning Barrabool restaurant can cater for up to 70 seated guests and leads to the kitchen garden. The breakout areas and outdoor spaces at the Estate are perfect for hosting cocktail events and team building sessions. Relax by our infinity pool and spa, enjoy a game of tennis, a workout in the gym or a stroll along one of our spectacular walking tracks. Stay at the Estate in one of the 60 accommodation rooms, most of which can be twinned. Featuring beautiful furnishings, king size beds, modern ensuites and gorgeous views, they are the perfect space to relax and unwind. Tucked away on Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds Campus, the Estate is surrounded by a beautiful, distraction free rural environment with complimentary car parking. The Estate is approximately one hour drive from Melbourne and 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD, providing an escape from the hustle and bustle.

A delicious day’s catering at Waurn Ponds Estate. This is our half day premium conference package, featuring fried chicken tacos and both our coconut chilli smoked salmon and spiced cauliflower beetroot salads for lunch. For tea break, our delegates were served sweet potato muffins and mini apple and berry crumble tarts. With all day tea and coffee available from our one touch espresso machines, what more could you ask for?
