β€οΈππWhile listening to the Winter rains outside near midnight, I came across this wonderful post on FB by Uniting History SA about The Church. Please click in to the link below, as I know some of you are well connected to its history & the UHSA page & of course myself as the owner, would love any photos you may have of the building, services etc. that you are happy to share. Feel free to send them through to me by private message or to my email at [email protected]. It is only me who manages this page & the email address. Thank you in advance if you do!
Kindest Regards

On this day - May 21 - in 2000, the Willaston Uniting Church (originally Wesleyan) church held its closing service - led by the Rev. Nellie van Dyk. The service was also celebrated the 133rd anniversary of the church (the order of service for this event is part of our collection.
This photo of the Willaston church dates from prior to 1927 (according to the information on the back of the photo), but that is all we know about it. The exact date and photographer are unknown.
Do you have any memories, stories, information or photographs of the Willaston Church that you would be prepared to share with us to add to our collection? We'd love to hear from you if you do.
