Gem Air Village Caravan Park is situated 11km off the Capricorn Highway approx. 75 km west of Emerald in the gem fields.

Enjoying the cooler weather here in Willows since over 100mm of rain.
Still more rain coming and the specking has been 👍👍
Lots of work getting done at Gem Air Village Caravan Park The office/shop being renovated and we have had Tree Loppers here and work done to the Septics.
Sites have been widened for bigger rigs and a cleaner look.
Look forward in catching up with everyone soon, enjoy some of our latest pics.

Welcome to the visitors of Jewel of the Gemfields!!
We hope you all have a safe trip and some good times.
At Gem Air Village Caravan Park we have power sites available and also family cabins with 2 bedrooms each
One Cabin is pet friendly.
We back on to the Willows Fossicking Ground and Thomo is happy to show you how to find Sapphires and mingle around the fire in the afternoon to see what's been found.

Thomo and Sheeba would like to wish you a HAPPY EASTER!!

Usually Easter at the Gemmies is the kick off for the Fossicking Season.
Even earlier last year for Willows.
But this year with Fuel Prices it seems to deter people But......
Atm Petrol 2.25
Diesel 2.95
3 Days a go the fuel excise has been cut from 52 cents per litre to 26 cents per litre.
So at 2.95 per litre minus 78c is $2.17 not bad really.
This excise cut will really help the Gemmies
As every year we rely on a good season to keep our businesses alive and keep people employed.
The Excise is cut for 3 months.
We have had plenty of rain which is great for Specking.
So what are you waiting for head out to Gemmies and show your support and have a dig.
Hopefully you ho home with some Cutters, New Friends and a Good Time.

It's Thomo here, we have been managing the Gem Air Caravan Park for 1 year now, wow it's been a good time.
Plenty of Sapphires have been found over the year.
If your unsure what to do come and say hello and we can help.
With all the cloud cover we have had, it's been cool enough for digging in the mornings.
