🇫🇷 What a fantastic morning! 🇫🇷

Our first French Conversation Group at Coffee Time was an absolute success. We shared plenty of stories, coffee, and of course lots of French conversation!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a welcoming and enjoyable gathering. It was wonderful to see native speakers, learners, and curious beginners all chatting together and having fun.

The feedback was so positive that we’ve decided to do it all again!

Happy Birthday, Alex!

Today we'd like to wish a very happy birthday to the bloke who keeps the doors open, the beers cold, the smokers running!

Whether he's chatting to the locals, welcoming travellers from across Australia, mowing lawns, fixing things that weren't broken yesterday, or serving up a few of our famous crocodiles, Alex is always working hard to make the Tavern a place people want to visit.

Behind every country pub is a lot of hard work, long hours, and dedication, and we're incredibly grateful for everything he does for his family, the Tavern and our community.

So if you see Alex today, be sure to wish him a happy birthday and maybe even shout him a beer... although he'll probably still be working!

From all of us at the El Arish Tavern, thank you for everything you do and here's to another year of great memories, good mates, cold beers, and plenty of crocodile.
