Mama Frankie and her beautiful baby boy are both doing well ~ and we’d love your helping choosing a name for the newborn ❤️ The person whose name is picked will win a weekend here at Samphire Chalets, and a chance to meet the cows.

Frankie was already pregnant when she and Charlie joined us in autumn, and she gave birth last Sunday morning. Prepare for more baby spam!

Samphire Chalets is proud to be an accommodation sponsor for Margaret River Region Open Studios, celebrating 154 incredible artists, makers and creatives across the region. Running from 12-27 September, the event offers art-lovers the rare opportunity to visit private art studios, meet artists, and view their works in progress.

We’re loving the work featured this year, including the Art Is collaborative exhibition at Christian Fletcher Gallery, whereby Christian invites 25 artists to create work inspired by his photographs.

Four artists will be at The Farm Margaret River - Martine Perret Photographer, ceramicist Joelene Hewison River Ceramics and painters Sarana Haeata and Philippa Kelly.

Fine furniture maker Nathan Day Design is opening his Vasse gallery for the first time, while Leon Pericles AM is set to unveil a new surprise in his garden. Emily Jackson returns after a break last year, with more vibrant printmaking and large-scale art.

Located on a pristine curve of the Wonnerup estuary, between the beach and tuart forest, we take our responsibility seriously and designed the chalets to have a light impact.

The chalets are powered by a 22kw solar battery system with grid backup, meaning we are powered by sunshine during daylight hours, and the battery at night. This provides around 80-90% of electricity for the chalets and keeps electricity supplied to the chalets for several hours in the event of a power outage.

Samphire Chalets is proud to be an accommodation sponsor for Margaret River Region Open Studios, celebrating 154 incredible artists, makers and creatives across the region.

Running from 12-27 September, the event offers art-lovers the rare opportunity to visit private art studios, meet artists, and view their works in progress.

We’re loving the work featured this year, including ceramic artist Georgia Zoric's clay pieces inspired by coastal life, and a collaboration by artist Ian Mutch and photographer Christian Fletcher, who have captured their perspectives of the region’s landscape through their combined artistic lens. Mel Jarman - Artist's nearby studio showcases her delicate botanical textile creation, while Jaky Pinnock - Mosaic Artist has stunning mosaic and detailed painting inspired by bountiful Busselton.
