Camp Gregory Veterans Retreat Annual General Meeting (AGM). 20 November 2026.

A General Meeting will commence at 10am followed by the AGM where all Committee positions will be declared vacant and the 2026/2027 Committee will be elected. For those members interested in applying for a Committee position, please email [email protected] to obtain a nomination form. Nominations close and must be received by COB 6 November 2026.

The AGM will be followed by a meet and greet and a sausage sizzle.
All available members are encouraged to attend.

There will be a Rememberance Day Service at Camp Gregory Veterans Retreat commencing at 10.30 am. All members and visitors are welcome to attend. It will be followed by the usual Sausage Sizzle at the Camp Kitchen/Dining Room. Please call our Caretakers on 0499 728 800 to book in and confirm for catering purposes.

It’s 6am and the Camp is getting a little rain to hopefully change the colour of the grass from brown to green in time for Remembrance Day. The Caretakers have been busy making the Camp less attractive to midges; however; there is still a few around. Don’t forget the Aeroguard!

🇦🇺 25 YEARS ON — WE WILL REMEMBER THEM 🇦🇺

Today, Camp Gregory Veterans Retreat pauses to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Australian military service in Afghanistan.

Twenty-five years ago, Australian Defence Force personnel began a commitment that would span two decades, leaving a lasting impact on thousands of Australian servicemen and women and their families.

Today, we honour the courage, dedication and sacrifice of all who served in Afghanistan.

We remember the 41 Australians who lost their lives, those who returned carrying visible and invisible wounds, and the families and loved ones whose lives were forever changed.

To every Afghanistan veteran, your service matters, your sacrifices are remembered, and you will always have a place within our veteran community.

Today, a wreath was laid at the Camp Gregory Veterans Retreat memorial as a mark of respect and remembrance.

Their service will never be forgotten.
