Tom and I recently decided to spend a few days experiencing the Southern Flinders Ranges like our guests do… and what a reminder of how lucky we are to call this place home!

We took the scenic drive through Pichi Richi Pass to explore Quorn, a pie at Bakery - Spirit of the Flinders and a drink at Scruffy Fella. We stayed our first night at Stony Creek Bush Camp Caravan Park wandered through Wilmington and hiked the spectacular Alligator Gorge.

Then it was off to Melrose for a couple of days on the mountain bike trails, Bush camping at the Melrose Caravan and Tourist Park, breakfast and bike hire at Over the Edge Melrose and dinner at the new bistro at Jacka Brothers Brewery 🍻

We had an absolute ball! There’s so much to see and do right on our doorstep, and we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Can’t wait to do it all again, there’s still so much more to explore! 🏞️

🍻 You can’t beat a caravan park happy hour!

One of the best things about camping is the people you meet along the way. Strangers become friends, stories are shared and there’s always a good laugh to be had!

Happy hour in our Camper’s Lounge is not to be missed! 🥂🌿

What do we all have in common? We love a good drink! 🍻 Oh, and looking after our guests, of course!
