A quick shout out to everyone who supports small businesses; we all know times are tough and many people are struggling

BUT ...

It isn’t always about spending money to help! Some of the best ways to support a small business don’t cost you a cent.

Every like, comment, share, recommendation and review helps more than most people realise. It has helped so many other people discover us, helps keep us visible and in front of people who may not have seen us if it was't for a share or recomendation, it's haeartwarming to know that people still appreciate small a personal.

We aren’t backed by big corporations, pokie revenue or huge advertising budgets; we have just built one booking, and one guest, at a time, over time.

One of our winter Weekend Sale groups we hosted this fantastic family group, and wow... there were kids everywhere! 😄

Their organiser, Amelia, told us that each year the group takes turns planning a getaway, and this year it was her turn to find somewhere for everyone to stay.

As they were leaving, she said she would defy anyone in the group to find a better place that offers the same value for money as Airtree.

The kids absolutely made the most of everything on offer. They visited and fed the goats and chickens every day, spent plenty of time on the driving range, and as you can imagine, the playground was a HUGE hit.

When the weather cooled down, all the adults could hang out in the rec room with the wood heater blazing, able to relax knowing they had the entire property to themselves; no sharing facilities, no other guests, just their group enjoying time together.

These are the types of weekends we love seeing at Airtree — families making memories, kids running free and adults getting the chance to properly unwind.

Well... that escalated quickly! 😳

Our Bird Bath Mosaic Workshop SOLD OUT in a day!

We knew there was interest, but we certainly didn't expect all 14 spots to disappear so fast (and an extra one before I could turn it off). We've already had people asking about the next workshop.

We'll run the July event first, learn what worked best, and what we can improve to make the next one just as good and maybe even better. We will look at future dates based on availability for both Airtree and Michelle from Riverlight Studio.

We absolutely love being able to bring different experiences to Airtree, and it's fantastic to see so many people keen to switch off, get creative and learn something new.

If you missed out this time, don't worry we will run it again, we did say to be quick to book ... so when it comes to the next time make surey ou are super quick!

P.S - someone asked about my Combi Van mosaic ... I thought I had pictured it but I don't think I did - I did this in a weekend workshop at Hens Teeth with Sharon Evan’s as the teacher. Sharon had so many flowers and also pre made mosaic birds she had made and we could pick them to go into our own designs, so I won’t take any credit for those although now I couod probably do them myself! Sharon also helped me with the VW logo: that did take expertise. The combi van was a template that you filled in to make it really easy to follow - I had no mosaic experience at all - if I can do it; anyone can!

OMG - SOLD OUT TODAY - FIRST 8 HOURS OF ADVERTISING - THANKYOU TO ALL
The mosaic workshop at our WineDown Weekend was one of the standout activities of the entire event ... all the girls (except 1) found the activity completley relaxing and so much fun.

What we thought would be a couple of hours of filling in the afternoon turned into a room full of women completely absorbed in what they were creating, they were thoroughly relaxed; the room was full of chatter, laughing and learning as everyone switched off from the outside world and got lost in the creative process..

So many people have asked us if we would run a workshop as just a one off event ... so here it is.

Join us here at the resort with Michelle from Riverlight Studio for a fun, creative weekend and spend two days bringing your own mosaic birdbath to life.

P.S - as always I like to ensure the activity is going to be suitable for everyone so I attended a workshop myself just recently at Hens Teeth in Cobram with Sharon as the tutor - i had no experience and my VW combi was so much better than I thought I would do, with some pre designed flowers from Sharon the tutor. The other examples are some of Michelles work as well.

It’s Groundhog Day … every morning we are greeted with the same thing … more and more leaves 🍁 🍂 🍃- 2 hours this morning and by the afternoon you won’t even be able to tell it was done!
