9 self contained rooms are available, a giant recreation/event room with full kitchen cooking facilities, pool table, air hockey, giant screen TV, air conditioning and wood heater make this room multi seasonal and multi functional. Since a newborn came into our home there is so many more “gadgets” Trins coffee machine and all associated paraphernalia had no where to go.

I love a good furniture flip… so the old kitchen hutch turned into a coffee bar and got finished off yesterday and found its new home.

This was a heavy well made cabinet and I just love how it turned out. I might do another one of these with a different theme and try my luck at selling it … although I have to say now with EJ taking so much of my time I do find it hard to find time as I am sure he is my ticket to taking time out and slowing down.

DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE A 4 PERSON INFRARED SAUNA HERE AT AIRTREE?

You'd be surprised how many people don't even realise we do! It's tucked away under the golf range here at Airtree ... we thought it was time to give it some attention – in more ways than one!

Firstly, by highlighting it's existance, and secondly, by giving it a much-needed facelift!

The poor thing had copped so much sun over the past year that the outside looked like it had seen more heat than the inside and it was looking very tired and run down!

Thankfully, Brett got stuck into it this week and gave it a makeover, and it's looking pretty flash again!

If you've never tried an infrared sauna, they're great for relaxing, easing tired muscles, improving circulation, & detoxing.

We're heading into the warmer weather, so sitting in a hot box might not be everyone's first thought right now, but it's always here if you're keen!

So next time you're staying at Airtree, don't forget about our little hidden sauna. And the best part? It's just another one of the many facilities we offer here at Airtree that our guests can enjoy completely FREE of charge ... maybe you might like to follow it up by organising a massge as well (just so you know that's not free) 🤣

OUR LATEST GOOGLE REVIEW - 1 star 👎

Well, Leonard Goddard, you've really given us nothing to work with here.

"Not great."

That's it. Two words and a 1-star rating. No explanation. No details. No nothing!

Now here's the interesting bit. We have never actually had a booking under this name. So either Leonard stayed with a group, booked under someone else's name, or we've got ourselves a mystery reviewer!

And I'd genuinely love to solve the mystery.

We bust our arses running this place. We're a small family business, working seven days a week, constantly improving things and doing our best.

Are we perfect? Absolutely not. And if something isn't right, we genuinely want to know about it so we can fix it.

But "not great" doesn't tell us a thing!

So Leonard, or anyone who knows Leonard, if you did stay with us, we'd really appreciate knowing what went wrong?

And to anyone leaving a one star review for small businesses; constructive criticism is always welcome. But please give us something to work with!

Anyway, thanks for the detailed feedback, Leonard. We'll get straight onto fixing... whatever it was that was't great 🙄

Welcome to the newest members of Team Airtree… Brett & Shey!

As everyone was aware (thanks to all for sharing our posts and for all the messages and offers of help) when Steve & Gina unfortunately had to leave us after only a few months for family reasons, we were very lucky to have Brett & Shey come onboard as our new caretakers; we only had to hold the fort for a little over a week or so on our own until Brett & Shey joined us here onsite.

And I have to say… Brett has already worked out the quickest way into my good books, tick off Jules jobs as soon as she asks. 😂It is soooo nice having another handy man onsite who I don’t have to nag to get things done.

Shey has fitted in just as easily and her background in childcare management is such an added bonus for us and our new circumstances. Not to mention Shey's previous experience in end of lease cleaning ... since they have joined us we have also lost our cleaner and Shey has stepped up to take on the cleaning as well ... it's a HUGE job here and often a thankless one (well not from me ... I am so thankful to have a great cleaner).

They’ve already jumped in here to lot of thing whilst Jules is otherwise occupied with the little time deistractor Elijah they have taken on the mowing, cleaning, maintenance, guest stuff and the never-ending list of random things that come with running this place.

It’s been a pretty hectic few weeks in our world, so having two people arrive who are happy to just get in and get things done has been very much appreciated and a huge releif to give us time to enjoy the newest addition to our family.

If you’re staying with us, make sure you say hello to Brett & Shey; hopefully they are here with us for a while.

Welcome to Team Airtree guys… it's such a welcome releif having some great help.
