Welcome to Villa Stadler, a home built in 1886, when Sarajevo stood at the crossroads of old traditions and a new era. According to the earliest records, its first owner was Mehmed efendi Rašidagić, a bimbaša (major) in the Ottoman army and a respected figure of his time.

This house has witnessed over a century of life — the soft rhythms of the old neighborhood, the voices of families, and the quiet transformations of the city around it. Because of its unique character, Villa Stadler was declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013.

Today, as restoration continues, we strive to preserve the warmth and dignity that this home has carried for generations. The renovated interiors blend modern comfort with the gentle spirit of the past.

We hope you feel a touch of that history during your stay — the calm, the charm, and the timeless atmosphere that still lives in these walls.

Thank you for choosing Villa Stadler.
Welcome, and may your time here be memorable.
