Today at URBIS in Brno, surrounded by the people who are building Living Labs across the Czech Republic, we got to share something we have been looking forward to.
During the session on Living Labs and city innovation, we announced the Czech translation of our booklet "Living Lab origins, developments, and future perspectives", now "Vznik, vývoj a budoucí perspektivy konceptu Living Lab". We could not think of a better place to do it.
CZELLAP, the newly established Czech Living Lab Platform, was in the room introducing itself. Practitioners from Brno Living Lab, BVV Living Lab, and PROBIO Living Lab were there. Our own Marta, Koen, and Wim were part of the conversation. It was one of those days that reminds you why this work matters.
This translation was made with care by Ondřej Mikeš, Marie Zezulková, Jakub Hruška, and Eva Janouškovcová. They are not just translators. They are people who show up every day to make Living Labs real in their communities, and we are grateful for everything they put into this.
The booklet is free to read, download, and share. We know it will be useful to everyone finding their way into this work.
Translation is now available here:

To everyone at URBIS today, thank you. It was a privilege to be in the room with you.
