The villa accommodates up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 2 baths. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, creating a comfortable layout for guests who want their own private space.

The setting is the headline. Large glass doors frame the ocean views, while the property slopes gently toward a pristine beach where the sound of the waves becomes part of the stay. It is the kind of place designed for slow mornings, quiet swims, and days that feel simple in the best way.

Comment “Foster Hill” for vacation rental info.

Hartswell, Great Exuma. This is Casa Bella, one of the five Foster Hill homes. A beachfront villa with five bedrooms and five ensuite bathrooms, it sleeps up to ten and works beautifully for families, couples, or a friends trip where everyone wants space.

The outdoor setup is the signature. An infinity-edge pool faces the water, an outdoor whirlpool bath sits ready for sunset resets, and a private sandy beach is just steps away. Add a shaded gazebo plus kayaks and paddleboards, and you can spend the entire day outside without needing a plan beyond “go explore.”

Inside is made for group rhythm. A fully equipped kitchen supports anything from quick breakfasts to full dinners, with dining areas that keep everyone together after boat days or beach walks. If you want it handled, chef services, massage, and boat tours can be arranged on request so the week stays seamless.

Foster Hill keeps logistics simple. You are in Hartswell, about 20 minutes from George Town for groceries and dining, and positioned for easy access to the calm flats and channels of the Moriah Harbour area. It is the kind of base that makes Exuma feel effortless, especially with a dock-ready community and protected water.

For day plans, you are close to the classics. Stocking Island for beach time, blue-hole and coral-garden snorkeling, and the stingrays at Chat & Chill, plus the sandbanks and sheltered channels of Moriah Harbour Cay National Park for paddling days.

Don’t miss the hidden spots. Chat with us before embarking on your next Bahamas vacation.

When you book through a large platform like Airbnb or Vrbo, you may find a beautiful house, but you will not always know what is hiding just beyond it. The Good Life helps match you with the right vacation rental, then connects you with trusted local captains and guides who understand the tides, routes, wildlife, and places that most visitors pass without ever noticing.

This is one of the blue holes inside Moriah Harbour Cay National Park. From a boat, it can look like nothing more than a dark patch beneath the turquoise water. Many people travel through this area without realizing they are passing directly over one of the park’s most interesting geological features.

A blue hole is an underwater sinkhole or cave formed in carbonate limestone. Over long periods, groundwater dissolved the rock and created underground cavities. Some sections later collapsed, leaving deep openings in the otherwise shallow seafloor. The dark blue color comes from the sudden increase in depth, which absorbs more light than the pale sand and shallow water surrounding it.

Moriah Harbour Cay National Park protects more than 22,000 acres of beaches, sand dunes, mangrove creeks, seagrass meadows, coral reefs, and blue holes. These connected habitats support sea turtles, conch, lobster, grouper, sharks, birds, and endangered coral species.

The best way to experience a place like this is with someone who knows it. A local captain can identify the opening, approach it safely, account for tides and current, and tell you whether conditions are appropriate for swimming or snorkeling. Blue holes may connect to submerged cave systems, so visitors should remain near the surface and never enter an overhead passage without specialized cave-diving training.

Tell us your group size, budget, and the kind of Bahamas vacation you want. We will help you find the right home and connect you with the people who can show you the places you would otherwise cruise straight past.

Comment “Foster Hill” for info on the 5 homes surrounding the Foster Hill Marina.

Foster Hill is a private marina enclave in the Moriah Harbour area of Great Exuma. The marina is the center of the Foster Hill collection. It connects five distinct homes into one shared sense of place, with your boat docked just outside and the ocean always within reach.

If your group books multiple Foster Hill homes, this is where the trip naturally happens together. Meet at the marina for a sunset cocktail hour with the water as your view, then jump in for a swim, launch a kayak or paddleboard, or just drift and talk while the light changes.

The setting is the reason people love it. Foster Hill sits beside the protected waters of Moriah Harbour, with secluded beaches just steps from your door and direct access to crystal-clear water, untouched cays, and easy day adventures. It works for couples, families, and big groups because you can scale the stay across multiple houses in the collection while keeping everyone in the same private pocket of Exuma.

This beach changes shape throughout the day.

Pigeon Cay is a small, undeveloped island inside Moriah Harbour Cay National Park in the Exumas.

Tides and currents continually move fine white sand around the cay, depositing it into a long point. As the tide falls, more of that sand is exposed, creating the island’s signature teardrop-shaped beach and a sandbar stretching into the surrounding turquoise water.

But the beach is only part of what makes Pigeon Cay special.

The island is home to endangered Bahamian rock iguanas. These prehistoric-looking reptiles are native to The Bahamas, and some populations survive on only a small number of isolated cays.

They have adapted to life in a harsh island environment with limited fresh water, intense sun and very little human development. Their heavy bodies, powerful legs and long tails make them look intimidating, but they primarily eat leaves, flowers and fruit.

Seeing one in the wild is completely different from seeing an ordinary lizard. They can grow surprisingly large, move quickly when they need to and often emerge from the vegetation to warm themselves in the sun.

Pigeon Cay also provides an important nesting area for seabirds. Offshore, clear water, coral reefs and seagrass habitats make it a beautiful place to snorkel and look for tropical fish, rays, turtles and other marine life.

A day around Pigeon Cay can include:
• Walking the teardrop beach at low tide
• Swimming and snorkeling in clear, shallow water
• Watching the rock iguanas from a respectful distance
• Looking for nesting and coastal birds
• Exploring nearby sandbars, beaches and smaller cays
• Boating through the mangrove creeks and turquoise flats of Moriah Harbour Cay National Park

Never feed, touch or chase the iguanas. Feeding wild iguanas can change their natural behavior and make them dependent on visitors.

Because the surrounding water can become extremely shallow and difficult to navigate, we recommend visiting with an experienced boat guide who understands the tides. Of course, we can connect you, it's what we do best.
