Weather check…yeah, it’s pretty nice.

Make your summer endless with a vacation at The Salt House. Daily highs in the mid-upper 80s and the ocean is about the same. The island is quiet, a true escape for families, friends, or just a couple looking for privacy in their getaway. I have an annual September getaway and it just might be my favorite time to enjoy the beach life.

Maybe you get your first glimpse of the blue on the flight in. Maybe it’s out the car window on the way to the house.

Maybe it’s walking up the front steps and looking from the French doors that line the front and ocean sides of the house.

But when you walk out to the pool deck, with the sun rays hitting your skin, the smell of the salt air, and the sounds of the ocean, it all comes together and that first look at the ocean brings a sense of wow and excitement beyond what you had hoped for.
