One of our favorite things to do in Elizabeth Harbour is snorkel around the coral heads near Fowl Cay, searching for fun and exotic friends tucked away beneath the surface. 🐠🌴

While this particular little hideaway didn’t have any residents waiting to greet us, we still spotted plenty of fascinating marine life along the way. That’s the beauty of exploring the Exumas—you never know what you’ll find around the next coral head.

Summer in Exuma is almost sold out. ☀️🌴

Spend the day with me at Coco Plum Beach 🌴☁️

First stop: lobster tacos from the Coco Plum Beach Shack, owned by the sweetest duo, Dee & Dana Thompson. Their beachside spot brings such a fresh and elevated vibe to the area — a menu full of flavorful options beyond the typical fried beach food, plus red and white wine served right on the sand. They’re open Monday–Saturday, and even with a crowd, our food was out in minutes. The Coco Plum Smash (Dee’s take on a Goombay Smash) absolutely lived up to the hype. 🍹

After lunch, I wandered down to the first sandbar at low tide and found countless sand dollars and even a few starfish along the way. While the skies stayed cloudy most of the day — which my sunburnt shoulders definitely appreciated 😅 — the water still glowed that unreal electric blue Exuma is famous for. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish🇧🇸🩵
