Tastefully decorated Riverview rooms which overlook the Tati River. Each room consists of two beds, en-suite facilities and a user friendly, fully equipped kitchenette. Our homely Woodlands Cottage, with it's abundance of original art, will be a most welcome stop for at least one night and you should really spoil yourself for a second night, relaxing and sipping our own in-house Old Hunters' Road wine. This cottage has all the features of home (plus more)! A secluded private braai area on the river's edge is well positioned for your enjoyment. Camping in your own tents on immaculate lawned sites with braai facilities, power and water points. You make use of the spacious and spotlessly clean centralized ablution facilities. Renowned to be the best campsite in Africa! At the entrance of our property the hunters, missionaries, photographers and explorers of yesteryear have been remembered and honoured with a rock wall and genuine refurbished wagon wheel dating back from that period. A stop there to reflect on the past is well worth the time. The varied habitat of the property, riverine/woodlands & acacia scrub, account for a variety of bird species which can be seen & heard. From the grunting hoots of the Giant Eagle Owl, the enchanting shrill call of the Woodland Kingfisher (after whom we're named), to the fluted notes of the elusive Crimson Breasted Shrike! Come with your binoculars! Our sparkling swimming pool is another welcome site on arrival after a long, hot and dusty journey. Unwind and enjoy!
